Middle East Council of the Carolinas| The MECC is a community based network of individuals and organizations that highlight the contributions of the Middle Eastern community in the Carolinas, and create bridges of communication to promote trust and understanding between the local Middle Eastern community and the community at large.

The Middle East Council of the Carolinas (MECC) is an educational and cultural organization founded in partnership with International House in Charlotte to promote awareness and understanding between the Middle Eastern community, both in the Carolinas and abroad, and the local community-at-large.

We seek to support and assist other local organizations and government officials in the promotion of Middle Eastern cultures. The MECC is neither politically nor religiously affiliated.
